01 / CONNECTION

Meet your panel

Turn on your panel, close iPixel Color, then choose it from your browser’s Bluetooth list.

Connect to identify panel dimensions. The initial grid is illustrative.

No pairing in Settings needed.

Checking remembered-device support…

Connection trouble? Forget panel disconnects and clears this browser’s remembered connection, and removes this site’s device permission when supported. Panel content and local drawings/slot lists are kept. Close iPixel Color or disconnect it on your phone before reconnecting.

Applies the selected clock face. Manual time turns automatic sync off.

04 / EXISTING PANEL CONTENT

Play content already on the panel

LOCAL DRAFT

Use addresses of content previously uploaded to the panel. Send drawing uses temporary DIY mode; use Still images below to upload at a program address. Adding an address here only bookmarks it in this browser.

Existing slot playback

Playback exits temporary DIY mode. Slot 1 appears in the app capture; other addresses may be empty. A reply accepts the request, but does not confirm that content exists.

Playback order

0 slots · 0 selected

One playback list: each row is a panel slot. Check the slots to play and use the arrows to set their order.

Names and order are saved in this browser; panel contents are not read back.

Slots and playback order

Adding an existing address renames its row. It does not create another saved item or upload media. Addresses are 1–255; capacity depends on the panel. Address 101 and 111–119 may contain temporary or reserved content.

Upload media to a program slot below, or add the address of content already on the panel.

Play requests the selected slot addresses in order. Renaming, reordering and Forget only change this browser’s list; they do not upload or erase panel content.

Names and order are stored in this browser when local storage is available.

    Delete stored slots

Deletion is limited to program addresses 1–100. Check selected-slot deletion on the physical panel.

No slot deletion requested. Forget removes only a browser label; these buttons delete panel content.

    05 / PIXEL EDITOR

    Color

Local draft · nothing sent yet.

Send and live drawing clear the current display and enter temporary DIY mode. Transparent pixels become black on the panel. No saved slots are written. Pixel commands have no reply; test the corners and RGB channels on your panel. 64×64 remains unverified.

    06 / STILL IMAGES

    Fit, preview and upload

    LOCAL PROCESSING

Choose an image or use your editor drawing.

The preview contains the exact output pixels, including the chosen background.

Copies the fitted/transformed pixels into the editor with Undo. Editing stays local until you send it.

    Image preparation and destination
    Client upload limit

A client resource guard, not a measured firmware limit. Inputs are limited to 5 MiB and 16 megapixels.

No image uploaded. Temporary display is the default. Images transfer as raw RGB pixels; PNG is used for local import/export. Corrected image display and program-slot persistence still need panel validation.

Uploads run as one operation with byte progress. Retry is explicit after reconnect; no upload is automatically repeated. The identified panel sets output dimensions; 64×64 hardware remains unverified.

    07 / GIF ANIMATION

    Resize, preview and play

    LOCAL PROCESSING

Choose a GIF to validate and preview its animation.

    No frames

Compatible dimensions keep the original GIF bytes.

Mismatched sizes are resized locally. The preview shows the actual encoded colors and timing.

    GIF preparation and destination

Changes frame delays in the prepared file. Upload again to change panel playback speed.

    Client limits

Panel file-size maximum is unknown. The original capture includes a 200,183-byte, 250-frame GIF; this establishes an observed file size, not maximum capacity. Client guards: 5 MiB input, 2 megapixel source canvas, 500 frames, 64 megapixels of decode work and 32 MiB of preview frames. Large files can take minutes over BLE.

No GIF uploaded. Decoding and resizing send nothing to the panel.

Native GIF files retain their palettes, transparency, disposal, frame delays and loop metadata. Resized files use full frames on black; color reduction is reported before upload. There is no GIF editor. Check physical animation/timing after transfer; 64×64 hardware remains unverified.

    08 / TEXT

    Say it in pixels

    LOCAL BITMAP FONT

    Loading the bundled bitmap font…

    Text layout and destination

A–Z, digits and basic punctuation. ASCII lowercase renders as uppercase; unsupported characters are reported. Image/GIF text supports custom scaling; native text uses fixed cells and panel effects.

Text outside the panel area is clipped and reported in the preview. Uses the same glyph pixels at 32×32 and 64×64; choose a scale for your panel.

Enter valid text and connect to the panel before sending.

No text uploaded. Prepare image/GIF text or native panel text locally, then send explicitly.

    09 / PICTURE TEXT

    Make a sequence

    0 / 6 items

Select an item for its local preview.

    Sequence content and destination

Prepare content in the sections above, then add a snapshot here. Up to six items at matching dimensions; later edits to the source do not change an added item. Select a row to preview, or use the arrows to reorder.

Each item uses one consecutive program slot. Upload declares one playback order and writes all items; it does not erase the panel. The app's six-item editor limit is not a measured firmware capacity. The panel controls timing; GIF holds are encoded in their files.

Download keeps the title and prepared media in one portable file. Drafts are not saved automatically. Opening a project only changes this local draft. Limit: 8 MiB input.

Local draft only; no sequence uploaded.

      10 / SAVED LIBRARY

      Keep your favorites

      THIS BROWSER

Save text settings, prepared images/GIFs and complete sequences here. These are browser copies, separate from the panel's program slots. Load a copy into its editor, review it, then upload there.

      0 / 100 saved

Your saved items will appear here.

        Save browser content

Save new creates a separate copy. Update selected replaces only that browser item with the chosen source. Rename uses the name above and keeps its saved content.

Loading restores a draft; it sends nothing. Text settings rebuild at the current panel size. Prepared images/GIFs can be resized in their upload section. Sequences keep their saved dimensions.

Import creates new copies and keeps existing items. Client limits: 100 saved items, 2 MiB per prepared media file, six items per sequence and 32 MiB per backup. Sequence items retain their 512 KiB preparation limit.

        Opening browser storage…

Nothing saved yet. Enter a name and save current prepared content.

        PANEL STORAGE

        Erase saved content

Erase all saved media/programs on the connected panel. This cannot be undone. This is separate from Forget, which only removes a local slot name.

        No erase requested.
